Absolutely correct. Biodegradable plastics of any for do not biodegrade in the ocean. There are no microorganisms there to digest the plastic. But the best way to stop plastic entering the ocean is to not make it in the first place. Stop making all this one time use plastic that is discarded after only a few minutes of use. These are the products that are highly littered too which has a high percentage that ends in the ocean.
