Geneva — As global plastics treaty talks kick off again, one of the most controversial unresolved issues will be how — or even whether — the agreement should address potential human health impacts of chemicals used in making plastics.

IT would make the mose sense to talk about chemcials used in plastics at a plastics treaty conference.   But the plastics manufacturers say no that should be a seperate treaty.   They are too scared that their sales will get restricted if the issue were included.    They don’t care about human health or wildlife health.
