Richmond could ban plastic food packagingPosted on May 25, 2016 by DrRossH in Plastic Limiting Regulations
The City of Richmond’s parks committee will vote Wednesday on whether to institute a ban of all “plastic cups, plates, utensils and bags” on all city property and food trucks.
We can do the plastic ban, in increments, in city hall and city facilities and then work through it just like we did with the smoking bylaw.”
Coun. Bill McNulty said despite concerns from staff, council may be able to push through the ban.
We wish them success.
