Another 245,000 tpa Waste to Energy plant. Some summary figures in this report are the weight of the ash residue is approximately 23 % of the waste weight. The plant will run will generate electricity at about 39% efficiency due to a combined heat and power (CHP) generation facility which makes it about 16% higher than a plant without CHP.
The bottom ash will be used as an aggregate substitute, for example in road-building.
