What about the plastic labels on the plastic bottles? The labels do not last long on a bottle. In a year long survey of plastic washed up on a fixed section of beach every day, the group BeachPatrol in Australia, found almost an identical number of plastic bottle labels as they did bottle tops. About 30 of each per meter per year on that beach. This has to be reduced and it is the manufactures responsibility to do this.
