NSW steps up action on plastic waste – Australia

The NSW Government has announced the next phase of its Plastics Plan, setting out a roadmap to phase out single-use and problematic plastics as part of its broader strategy to tackle the state’s waste crisis.

Introducing tethered caps on plastics drinks bottles by 2030 is on the list.

Plastic drink bottlke tops are one of the more littered items.  Tethering them will be key to reducing this.  #tetheredbottletops   But before 2030 would be better.   When will other Australian states follow suit?
