By UK PM Theresa May.     In 2015 we introduced the 5p charge on plastic carrier bags, we now see 9bn fewer bags being used. It’s making a real difference. We want to do the same with single use plastics. Nobody who watched will doubt the need for us to do something – and we will.

The David Attenborough documentary has brought this very serious problem more to the general public.  We need a lot more of this to get to the politicians to make them start to act.   Industry has gotten away with polluting our oceans and lands with plastic for far too long.
