Posted on January 22, 2015 by DrRossH in Plastic Limiting RegulationsAround 340 tons of non-biodegradable wrappings have been seized in Cameroon since the launch of the operation to curb the spreading of such wrappings in April 2014, sources at the ministry of Environment and Natural Conservation disclosed.
Despite the launch of the campaign by the authorities to curb the usage of non-biodegradable plastic bags, the practice is still common among many Cameroonians across the country especially in big markets and large shopping centers, the sources deplored.
