THE City Environment and Natural Resources Office (Cenro) said Friday it recorded a total of 139 violators in the first two days of the implementation of a total ban on the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags and polysterene foam as beverage and food containers.
This is not a plastic bag ban but a ban on conventional bags. They are permitting oxodegradable bags. Which is a bag that crumbles into little peices after a couple years. We fear that in another 5 years they will be back at the same issues being so dissapointed in the oxodegradable bags.
