The use of plastic bags in the province of Bulacan is now prohibited following the release of an ordinance by Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado.
The ordinance states that using non-biodegradable plastic bags, styrofoam and other similar products used as packaging materials are now prohibited in the 21 towns and 3 cities of Bulacan.
