Let the science to the talking and not the lawyers. There is ample evidence that there are additives that will make plastics landfill-biodegradable. Speed is not the question. Even if it takes 20 years, that is far far better than an untreated plastic. We should not be leaving our plastic waste for future generations to deal with.
Maybe we should be looking at the plastics industry. Why are they allowed to make a product that has no effective or even designed end of life strategy. They are the irresponsible parties here and need to be made accountable.
