There are so many articles about the tearful damage that released balloons are doing now. This is great. Another unnecessary that can easily be replaced with out spoiling any ones expectations.
Last year the CSIRO named balloons as one of the top three most harmful pollutants impacting wildlife, but most people are unaware of the true harm balloons cause to wildlife. When people have outdoor celebrations or events, balloons are released or can easily escape, with no further thought of the impact.
Hopefully helium filled balloons will be a item of the past soon.
